British commentary vs American Commentary

HBO/Showtime any time over ITV/Sky/Setanta, and I'm a Brit.

Each one of the pundits pisses me off on Brit channels, and the commentators annoy me even though I don't know why. There's just something irritating about their tone of voice, delivery and opinions.

I find Lampley and co. (Kellerman, Steward, Merchant), although not perfect by any means, to be far more interesting in their discussions and delivery. I genuinely like to hear what they have to say about a fight before, during and after.

That's why I always prefer to download (and keep) any caps made of American broadcasts than Brit ones. The only reason I've kept, for example, both HBO and ITV versions of Calzaghe-Manfredo, is because the latter has more build-up and stuff. Otherwise, for commentary, Brit stuff is throwaway for me.

Lewis is the worst of all time man!
Not a bad shout about Haye tho i think he'd be great, Hopkins wouldnt be bad either and i like Roy on commentry, apparently he is coming to Sentanta
