Froch vs Taylor... who would win?

I apologise too, I can see how you could have misread me, particularly with some of the heavily pro-UK posters on here. It's just that being accused of being biased is a red rag to a bull to me.I apologize, it's too early for fighting anyway.. atleast over here. I have Taylor UD. I may place a bet on Taylor via stoppage if I'm feeling balsy just b/c I see the availablity of Froch's chin to finally come into play in this fight.. Despite Taylor not being known as a big puncher. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor got floored once en route to my his victory.
As for the fight, the reason why I really wanna see it is that I'm by no means certain who would win. My Froch pick is VERY tentative. I go for him largely due to the power. And you're right, he (deliberately, suicidally) leaves himself WIDE open.Comment

I'll have to find one, some of them are ridiculously, nonsensically funny... ISTR the last one was Roy Jones vs Calzaghe. (Because Joe is the double of Hamed in every way, right?)Comment

Taylor keeps his hands just below that chiny chiny chin of his. Creating a perfect target for Froch's bombs.
Froch KO 3.Comment

You know, the more we discuss it, the more exciting it gets. Two things:
1. I think that the more realistic option if it goes to the cards is for Sad Intentions to win.
2. Is either one of them capable of KOing the other? YES. Is either one of them likely to have the stylistic opportunity to be able to land KO shots on the other? YES.
Great fight potential, surely?Comment

One of the most telling pieces of this puzzle is Pascal's fight previous to the one against Froch. Pascal(edit) looked just barely better than a clubfighter. And actually almost got blasted out against a fighter who appeared to be better suited for flipping burgers. Now I recognize that sometimes it is god awful performances that wake a fighter up and tell them they need to completely upgrade themselves, and perhaps that happened but.. Pascal made what should have been an early annihilation into a life and death battle. Only to make his next fight VS froch very close. Despite questionable endurance, Taylor does have insane athleticism and will be very hard to beat to the punch. If Froch leaves his chin out too often, I think that will be his undoing.. Besides, the money on a Taylor KO should be pretty decent I'm guessing.I apologise too, I can see how you could have misread me, particularly with some of the heavily pro-UK posters on here. See, this is the thing. Hopkins was drained to Hell and Wright was a lot smaller. (and I don't really consider Jeff "LOL" Lacy to be that great).
Let's not forget that Froch is the bigger man (isn't he?)
I feel for Froch because he's never had the chance to show whether or not he's genuine world class. I still don't know.Comment

Also, the thing is Taylor is aware that the way he will lose this fight is if he allows himself to get blasted. I think he will be sticking and moving all night, using the ring and taking the occasional opportunity to unload on Froch when he gets overly macho. If Taylor has a few wrong placed mental lapses on movement/defense then he could end up with his head in the third row.Comment
