and here i am thinking that the Floyd fanboys were the only ones that use the woulda-shoulda-coulda angle

i think he might have been able to beat Pacquiao if that immediate rematch got signed.....in fact, i think a win over Pacquiao at that point would have lined up Marquez to absolute stardom

it would have been him having a trilogy against Morales and if succesful, would have been the face of mexican boxing

    but a funny thing happened

    Nacho

he and marquez, with a GIFT draw, somehow developed a diva-complex

they were offered a then-career high purse and acted like jackasses

and while they went off into their exodus to indonesia, the Pacquiao legend grew beyond proportions

oh ****ing well.....chalk it up as ANOTHER knockdown for Pacquiao on JMM

It's not the first time JMM's management derailed his career.
Pac's management has done quite well with him in contrast in terms of matchmaking and exposure.

the one thing good thing i will say about Murad Muhammad, although he pimped Pacquiao, he did his job in getting the fights and Pacquiao, for his sake, allowed to get pimped because he KNEW that he needed those fights to make a name for himself in the US...he knew that if he worked hard and won, the payoff in the end would come...

and thru all the management changes since then, Pacquiao has made sure that he got his value's worth....from Shaw to Finkel and now...to the point where he's pimping uncle Bob and stalling mega-showdowns with his purse demands...he's come a long way

marquez 'shoulda' told Nacho to shut da **** up and he 'woulda' won the rematch...he 'coulda' been the man sooner...oh well

hell to the no. Pacquiao is simply better than Marquez. He won the first fight by a much wider margin than the 2nd fight.

Pac man won twice. Jmm woulda won both fights if he would have not been knock downs. It doesnt matter if he won more rounds but he was never able to make manny touch the canvas unlike manny did he made him touch the canvas 5 times props to both fighters though

Marquez would have beaten Pacman,if he had a better chin, the knockdowns have certainly affected the outcome of both their fights!!!!
