To the Calzaghe fans in this thread. Calzaghe did not beat Hopkins, because he wasn't landing punches. I know you lot cant see past the end of your nose regarding Joe, but how can you not see he was missing and missing and missing.

        Hopkins won

BHOP clearly beat Joe. Yes he did get tired but he still won. Joe did not land punches in that fight. Just because a guy comes forward and windmills does not mean he won the round. Bernard moved continously in that fight to avoid being a target like Manfredo and Lacy, so he did get tired by he still won that fight. Hops made Cal look like an amatuer.

Let me tell you guys something. Duke McKenzie BIG Calzaghe fan capiche? well Duke said on talksport the next day that, if he had been one of the judges he may not have given Joe the verdict. Mike Tyson also told Rhodri William he thought Hopkins won.

He said Mackie Shilstone was trying to control it by diet, which is very hard to do, and he thinks that it wasn't an issue for hopkins against pavlik but was against joe. He said he couldn't explain why else hopkins didn't have the energy to throw punches in the later rounds, as he's never been a guy to get tired in the later rounds.

                We'll never know now though.

Whats the deal with folks saying Hopkins clearly beat Joe. I'm looking at the boxrec page right now, with a 21-inch HD LCD computer screen. I don't know how I can get a much clearer picture out of this thing... and it still looks like Joe was the winner.

Seriously though, if Bernard clearly won... that means two of the three judges blatently lied. So, what the boxing world needs, if claims that Bernard Hopkins won are to be taken seriously, is an answer to WHY would those judges lie.

Don't tell us what Bernard did in the ring to win. It doesn't matter, because 2 out or 3 judges think Joe did more. So, we need to get some ideas out there and posted as to WHY the judges would be dishonest.
