I saved my 2000th post for this thread for a reason. Dawson knows he is the heir apparent to the division and will make his supporters and fans proud. He deserved the Calzaghe fight, but since that is over with he is not harping on it. He just takes the punches as he goes and keeps on trucking. You have to respect that. A class act all the way.

Dawson is a coward. glen johnson beat his ass and until this day he won't give the road warrior a rematch. instead Dawson wants to rematch a powerless Tarver. thats a sissy move. and by the way Calzague ducked Glen johnson too.

people give dawson too much stick.. hes a decent guy and hes a decent fighter.. good speed, that exciting style to watch and has all the makings of a future star but for some reason hasnt won the public over, fair enough wasnt a good performance to glen johnson but still peole should get behind him, hes the best now i think at light heavy.

At complete odd's and sods with Carl Froch. If one Carl realised he was only hampering his changes for a fight due to his behaviour in addition to being ****, and Dawson was considered cos he's better and more respectful.

I half think Dawson knows Calzaghe woulda beaten him I'm afraid, as I've never strongly heard him say much different, and he's gotten quite quite about fighting either Hops or Calzaghe. He seems to content and blaze about being the likely future #1 as if out of default, both the current #1 and 2 guys beat him though in most views so it's a tad rich to say "king".

Anyways he's entitled to say it to an extent, great fighter and will be awhile til I see Dawson losing if at all. All the best to Hopkins, Calzaghe and Dawson.
