Hell yeah. That punch was just...vicious.

I also remember Tarver sitting ringside watching the fight. And Jones' rant afterwards.

"But Tarver or Ruiz will be next, that's no doubt...I've been wanting to fight Tarver so bad I've been dreaming about him in my sleep! He made me mad when HE lost. Brooks, didn't I tell you I was coming to get him? I'm coming to get him, baby."

roy should get credit for even fighting tarver. look at the **** ppl talk about other fighters that retire with challengers ready and waiting for them. this is overlooked. roy didnt HAVE to fight tarver

A prime Roy Jones Jr. is a fearsome proposition for any man to face. I like that song Ya'll Must've Forgot aswell haha. I like Roy he is and always was good for the sport. Gotta be up there in my top 5 fighters at the moment.

think about it this way, it's like he always says, he does'nt even like his child hood, he does'nt like how his father treated him, he was pushed to the limit everyday for atleast 25 years

And unlike other fighters, he gave Tarver an immediate rematch for a fight he WON.

You know i agree with you guys that the Malinga win was a great win, but i thought it was one of Roy's more flat performances untill he knocked Malinga out.

It really was...I completely agree. Although I think his most mediocre performance came against Otis Grant - he really looked unmotivated for that.

Yeah. I cant understand why people booed Roy for the Gonzalez win i thought Jones performed well in that fight, and people have to remember Gonzalez is was a natural LHW. God knows what walking around weight Gonzalez comes down from when he is not in training, probably CW, if the truth be known.

Telesco,Virgil Hill looked massive for the LHW divison too i thought.

Yeah, you could see Jones was really struggling with Gonzalez's sheer size and strength those first three rounds or so. But once he found his range that fight was horribly one-sided.
