Miguel Cotto's Camp is Tougher Than Usual For Jennings

Did you even watch the Cotto/Margarito fight? Because I didn't see that Miguel Cotto in the ring on that night.

Fight of the year candidates means both fighters did a great job, and they did. It was blemished by Margarito but that makes Cotto look even better than he did.
Looks like more people saw what you didnt. Fight Of the Year proves that point.

Its funny that now after Mosley beats Margarito people had the Cotto-Mosley fight a draw. I have watched that fight several times and the never had Mosley winning more than 5 rounds.
Cotto should be okay, gaining weight between fights isnt exactly smart but he did need to allow himself to recover. Old injuries are always annoying but I dont see any of this hurting him against Jennings.

Cotto won 8 rounds in that fight he won 10 and 11 as well.

Just because he got on his bike means,he lost those rounds. Cotto was outlanding Mosley while on hi bike and he landed flusher shots!!!!!!!

Dude, Cotto won the 11th...it's crazy to not give Cotto the 11th. You'd be hard pressed to find one other person that would give Mosley the 11th.

After reading this I had to look at rounds 11-12 again on youtube. No way mosley won round 11, and 12 was a toss up...Cotto landed the better punches in 12 but Shane was the aggressor.

How in the world can you give round 11 to Mosley! you need to rewatch round 11 Cotto takes it to Mosley. then neither one of them do **** in round 12. But it was Close.

We can agree to disagree but from what I saw Miguel Cotto did not fight a smart fight & he hit Margarito to keep him off of him. Of course he hit Margarito because that is Margarito's defense his chin. Over all Margarito walked him down & put him out. I'll tell you who fought a smart fight against Margarito "Paul Williams & Sugar Shane Mosley" because they figured him out & used his own
weapons against him. Cotto was on his bike & that's REAL TALK Do I think Cotto has a chance to win if the rematch happens? Yeah I do but he would have to fight completely different from what he did the first time.

Cotto needs to be careful with challenging Mosley. He has their past fight to build on knowledge-wise plus the Marg defeat. Cotto also needs to give his input on matchups instead of "whatever my company decides..." thats the attitude that can get fighters in career trouble. Arum is smart but has money in the forefront of his mind...Cotto is intuitive enough to make some of his own suggestions at the least.

Mosley easily swept the championship rounds (rounds 8-12). He had Cotto pulling a De La Hoya and then the biased ref had to "wipe" the canvas when Cotto slipped, but when Shane slipped he did not. What a bunch of horse ****. I had Shane winning 8 rounds to 4. Shane was robbed in Cotto's hometown and remained the class act he's always been.

I didn't say Cotto couldn't do better or fight a better fight, obviously the winner "had the master plan". Its easy to say why a winner won.
