I think the above poll is so wrong. First off being knocked down is not quitting, taking a knee and then sitting down in the corner could be called quitting or look like quitting. Falling from a hook after the shots Margo. took the whole fight as the Ref. stood in is quitting? And the guy who says Cotto was just taking a breather and his corner quit, did you watch this fight? Taking knee's in a matter of 30 sec's of each other is not recouporating. Second, quitting is a kinda harsh word after what Cotto went thru. in that fight. Jesus what a great fight that was to watch, what more could you ask for?

Is Paul Williams a loser cause he lost?
Marg's chin weak cause he got ko'd once?
These guys at the top ain't losers or weak!
neither is Cotto a quitter if he got stopped!
In addition Cotto's willing to step back in the ring for a rematch, how's that for being a "QUITTER"!?!?!

As much as I am not a Miguel Cotto fan I would like to see him win Feb 21st & get the WBO so he can be in the loop and get it on with Mosley again & settle who's the best Welter Weight in the division. Cotto beat Mosley (Which I had as a draw), Margarito pummeled Cotto & Mosley DISMANTLED Margarito. Cotto/Mosley 2 can't wait. From what Mosley is saying, it seems that Cotto's people hasn't showed any interest in giving Shane a rematch since the first fight. Hopefully that's not the case.Comment

Thats because they already have schedules for him for the next couple of months plus he was in a rest so they didnt want to force a rematch right away when he needed rest and redeem himself, maybe after a rematch wit Margarito on June or replacement with Berto as they say it would be, then it would maybe come Mosley, right now he has to focus on the upcoming fight.Comment

I do think in that fight he had enough, and who wouldn't after the battle he had been thru. and how tired and bloody he was. Just because he quit that fight doesn't mean he is a quitter. I am sure he'll be back and learn a lot from it. I mean call it what you want. However that one fight doesn't sum up Cotto, it's not how you fall but how you rise (I hate those kinda sayng but so true in this case). How many of us could not take a knee and stop from taking a quarter of the shots he had started to take that last round and a half?Comment
