lol we arguin the same point joe deserves much more respect than he gets from ppl his record speaks for its self i box my self i half no what they go thru which is y i belive joe gets a very hard time from ppl and wether he would have won of lost to past fighters he has done somthing that hardly anyfighter ever has and in my eyes deserves praise fo it

well you entitled to you opinion and yeah ill admit he was boring at times a cry baby and didnt like to take risks but he was a very clever fighter who new what he had to do to win he new he couldnt stand toe to to with bhop so hi hit and held the fight was ugly yeah and boring to watch but it worked for him he wasnt an exciting fighter by a long shot but the man new what he had to do

Remove Hopkins ass from your lips. I dislike Calzaghe as much as anyone on the board but Hopkins was the one who didn't want to go toe to toe. He hit and held every 6 seconds and turned the fight into a joke. I thought Hopkins was shot after that fight because he fought like a coward holding and faking 2 low blows.

Calzaghe's record is an achievement, outstanding at that. He adapted to fights, destroyed so called 'unbeatable' opponents who are outstanding boxers and jumped in the deep end when he needed too. It's not very often you see a perfect record and besides, what did he have left to prove?
