Look men after the lost to donaire.,he have tighten up his defense. His defense was pretty good against Catubay and GorreZ(fight he got that draw, but he should of win),and was superb against Kirillov and Mijares. Actually he was outboxing Mijares. he is top 10 without a doubt!!!!!!!!!!!

Williams is nothing special, he's way overrated

A 6'3 man with 82" reach fighting at 147 is just ridiculous. He is a coward that likes to pick on little men. Dude has longer reach than the Klitschko brothers. He should move up and pick on someone his own size.
Because he has defied weight classes. He beat Margarito, and Quintana at 147. No one else wanted to fight him at that weight. He went up to 154 and beat the crap out of Verno Phillips, and made him quit. Then he went to 160 and KO'ed Andy Kolle in one round, and now he's going to fight Winky Wright at 160, and wants Pavlik. He actively competes in 3 divisions.
That's why I put him in the top 10.

40 year old Verno "11 losses" Phillips was the weakest title holder in boxing.

Andy Kolle was a tomato can bum

Williams hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse at 154 or 160

Sandy Saddler was a great featherweight with a longer reach than Rocky Marciano. Was he a coward?

How about Tommy Hearns, would you consider him a coward for fighting at 147?

There are fighters who are naturally thicker than Williams with greater strength that fight at 147. Margarito, Clottey are both physically stronger IMO than Williams, yet there is no uproar about those guys fighting there. Why, because they aren't as tall? Doesn't mean they aren't as big.

If he beats Winky Wright, will you use the excuse that Wright was past his prime? Do you think Wright will beat Williams?

That's just my opinion. Phillips did quit by the way. He quit on the stool. Don't you remember? (no disrespect)

I'll remember to bump this post if Williams pulls out the win. By you making this post, you forego any rights to use his inactivity or age as an excuse.
