    Poll/Retirement of Joe Calzaghe

Are you happy or upset about Joe Calzaghe's retirement?

Personally, I'm kinda in the middle. If he were to face the only real challenge at the weight (Dawson), then I wanted him to stay in the game.
However, if he were to just milk a few more wins off of fading legends and contenders, then be gone with him. Boxing doesn't need that. We need more Ricky Hatton's. Fighters willing to give their all (including their '0') for something great. Joe was always afraid to really have a good chance at losing in the ring.

I am upset, he had allot more to offer the boxing fans.

I'm happy because he has nothing to prove and he is an ATG.

Happy. I don't want anyone else getting slapped in there, it's just degrading.

I feel the same way I felt about Floyd.

As a fan, we lose a lot of potential fights.

      But...

As a fan, we gain a lot of other potential fights.

Joe has achieved the goal he wanted most, retiring undefeated.

His had his time. Boxing will move on.

            Was hoping to see Calzaghe-Dawson.

I think that he still has at least one more top performance left in him, shame to see that go to waste.

He wasn't gonna rematch Bhop, or face Dawson or Glen, so
