    Undefeated Joe Calzaghe (46-0) has announced his retirement from boxing. Coming off a banner year in 2008, where he moved up to light heavyweight to win decisions over Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr., Calzaghe saw no reason to go any further. [details]

              Yea i hope he has good people around him and he looks after his money i would hate to see a great fighter come back a few years down the road.

                that sucks, but apart from dawson that i think he still is too green for calzaghe, there is not another interesting fight out there.

                    I think the only fight that makes any viable sense as of now is a B-Hop rematch.

                    But if he is truly retired, not mad at him. Cong****, Joe. Would have loved to see you smack the **** out of Froch, though.
