        I never liked him. I didn't think he beat Hopkins, and his last fight and months of comments confirm what an utter prick he really is. But I do give him credit. A good word to describe Calzaghe is consistent. Although I don't know how consistent he would have been if his career took a more risky path, it's always repectable when a fighter is winning for many years in a row.

                  thanks for the great fights joe - you deserve a good retirement,

                  part of me will always want him to come back and give dawson a whipping but imo dawson effectively sealed zaghes retirement by deciding to take on tarver instead of taking on b-hop. i believe that if dawson had beat b-hop calzaghe would have fought him, but ah well i suppose it makes sense and if you dont have the hunger you should leave the sport.

                      There are now good fights in that division now that joe has gone.

                      I would have loved it if he had 1 last fight at wembley were he completly batters dawson who is so overrated.
