If Haye rocks him early, you will see a Klitschko big right hand hopefully.
Not many get up from those. It's not like a Mormeck shot.
I too would love to see some fireworks if this fight ever comes off.
We talk about stuff like Tua-Ibaebuchi still because we don't have a lot to remind us of two guys ****ing each other up with bombs.

After coming back to, like you said - Dominate opponent after opponent after 3 knockout losses.. I'd say Wladimir does not need to worry about being accepted as a true champion.

I made a post like this like 5 months ago.

The whole "Wlad has a glass chin!" rant is bull****. No, he doesn't have an iron chin, but his chin is actually probably better than your typical heavyweight.

Sometimes someone makes some sort of negative rant on a boxer or anything and everyone just blindly sticks to that persons word without knowing the facts at all. Sheep mentality I guess.

I'm not implying that he isn't a "true champion," I just want to see Wlad react to some adversity like many other champions before him have. Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, Marciano, etc. all had moments where the couldn't easily been beaten but were able to win because they handled adversity well...

When Klitchko has had to deal with adversity i.e. Sanders, Brewster, Purritty he hasn't handled it too well. I want to see him overcome some adversity (I know I'm beating that word to death) before he retires..

It's easy to win if you fight crappy opponents. Anyone can, has and are doing so, right now. The only ones who really lose are fighters who don't have a dumb enough fan base to pay for bore fests... This leaves us with only one means of truly compare fighters: Watching them fight separately. No p4p ranking, no number of defenses, no KO % (well, that remains a good indicator of power but that's it) can tell you who is really the better man. This apply specially to Wladimir, it's not his fault the competition in HW is as low as it has ever been in 2 centuries, but i see a few of the younger guys much superior to him in technical aspects of the game. This is sad and it's killing boxing. In MMA this just doesn't happen because the best fighters are in the UFC and the thing with the UFC is fighters who lose 2 or 3 straight matches GET BOOTED OUT. So whoever you fight it's a hard fight, see? No one seems to point this in boxing. It doesn't happen! You pick who you fight and when you want to fight them and you can still keep doing it if you have a following fan base who's dumb enough to pay, no matter who you fight!

The bolded part is very true. Let's hope it changes.

The glass chin thing ain't meant **** to his career in yrs. If it wasn't good before, it'll never be, but his defense and his skills have made up for that.

                      - He's had 55 heavyweight fights, and he's been down in six. That means he's had 49 heavyweight fights where he hasn't been down.

                      - In his first 22 fights, most of which he won by early KOs, he was never down, not once.

                      - In the six fights where he's been down, two were because of gassing, not because of punches to a delicate chin (Brewster I and Purrity).

                      - In the Pannell fight, the knockdown on the first round was just a flash knockdown - Wlad wasn't hurt, and proceed to KO his opponent in round 2. The knockdown in the Williamson fight was also a flash knockdown, Wlad wasn't hurt at all - that one could have been ruled a slip.

That leaves two fights. In the Peter fight, there was only one legitmate knockdown, where he was hurt a bit, but not seriously. The other two "knockdowns" were 1) from a rabbit punch, and 2) from a combination push/rabbit punch.

And there's of course the Sanders fight, where Wlad was badly hurt by a head butt, and then by punches.

Really, in 55 fights, that's the only ONE where Wlad was badly hurt or stopped by being hit: the Sanders fight.

He isn't iron-chinned like his brother, but contrary to what some people say, Wlad has a good chin!
I'll give a co-sign sort off. I think it's a decent chin that is well protected by a great jab and safe strategy.
