Which is also my opinion. Wlad can take some good shots.

It ain't the best, but it doesn't have to be because he's very cautious defensively, plus he hides it behind a good jab.

Wlad doesn't have the best chin, so it's a good thing that he uses his jab as much as he does to try to keep his distance. He gets very nervous whenever someone pressures him too much. He's been knocked out pretty bad, so obviously he has to be over cautious.
        I like Wlad though.
As far as him personally he's a really great guy..

          - He's had 55 heavyweight fights, and he's been down in six. That means he's had 49 heavyweight fights where he hasn't been down.

          - In his first 22 fights, most of which he won by early KOs, he was never down, not once.

          - In the six fights where he's been down, two were because of gassing, not because of punches to a delicate chin (Brewster I and Purrity).

          - In the Pannell fight, the knockdown on the first round was just a flash knockdown - Wlad wasn't hurt, and proceed to KO his opponent in round 2. The knockdown in the Williamson fight was also a flash knockdown, Wlad wasn't hurt at all - that one could have been ruled a slip.

That leaves two fights. In the Peter fight, there was only one legitmate knockdown, where he was hurt a bit, but not seriously. The other two "knockdowns" were 1) from a rabbit punch, and 2) from a combination push/rabbit punch.

And there's of course the Sanders fight, where Wlad was badly hurt by a head butt, and then by punches.

Really, in 55 fights, that's the only ONE where Wlad was badly hurt or stopped by being hit: the Sanders fight.

He isn't iron-chinned like his brother, but contrary to what some people say, Wlad has a good chin!
I'd say he has an okay chin. But he doesn't take flush power shots too good, which explains his god awful boring but effective yard long jabbing style.

Well he has gotten up from every knockdown, and the only time I've seen him seriously hurt was after a pretty vicious headbutt from Sanders. Certainly not the pure glass it's made out to be, but not the best either. I'd say about 5 or 6 out of 10 is about right.

Wlad's "glass chin", is just evidence of how reactionary boxing fans are today. It is something people who don't have much knowledge always point to when talking about a potential fight, because its what they have been told.

Honestly he has a far from great jaw, but it is not as bad as many people make it out to be.

I feel confident he can take a big shot from Haye without going down.

Just not 3 or 4 of them.

I've seen a lot worse from Champions namely Maskaeev.

To Wlad's credit, whenever he's been down, he tries like hell to get up, even if he was doing German breakdancing in the Sanders fight.

His chin is good for what he does. He doesn't exactly go to war like he seemed to earlier in his career.

But hey, he wins a lot, however he does it.

Exactly. Both Klitschkos have a ton of heart.

I hope the Haye fight is an all out war with Wlad coming out victoriously; I'm sick of seeing him dominate opponent after opponent. I wanna see some adversity thrown his way and him deal with it like a champion...
