i think it's his personality and the fact he's european. euros are usually reserved/modest but this guy has the ****iness and attitude of an american but without the resume of a great american fighter (i.e. calzaghe's resume is padded with euro bums which are the worst type of bums, similar to sven ottke) so most americans hate him cus he considers himself a goat/atg/hof etc
