He only has 4 wins over good quality fighters, 1) Jeff Lacey(look at him now, he was over rated), 2) Kessler(who i would call a B to B+ fighter at best), 3) Bernard Hopkins(who was 43, and he baraly won, imo hopkins won by one point), 4) Roy Jones(who is also way over the hill, is a has been).

Again i am a fan of Joe, but no way he deserves to be in top 100.
thats the common misconception of new boxing fans who dont know much about boxing from 1990's. eubank, reid, brewer were all very good wins. eubank was a bigger win than lacy and jones for instance.

You'd have to be a serious hater to compare Calzaghe to Ottke.

      Wow.

Word. Eubank was an excellent win, possibly Joe's best.

Ill put it this way: If Hopkins is an ATG then you have to make room for Calzaghe as well.

He will always have that undefeated halo around him just like Mayweather and Marciano so you will hear his name in ATG discussions no matter what.

As many of you guys know, i hate Calzaghe that piece of **** ****.

But even i consider him a top 100 ATG. IMO he's no where near top 50, but i can put him into the top 100 list. Closer to the 80's/90's.

Borderline. Certainly one of the greatest British fighters though.

And Chris Eubank had more left in the tank that people realize, which showed when he moved up to Cruiserweight. And had those 2 wars with Carl Thompson, although Chris Eubank did have to lose alot of weight in a short period of time against Joe Calzaghe. Which does take away some credit, but it was still a very good win considering that Joe Cazlaghe pretty much won easily in rounds like 9-3. And he was green with only like 22 pro fights.

No. It should be forbidden to try to slip through the backdoor to ATG hood. Undefeated records don't mean anything to me if you don't effectively legitimize them.
