I agree with what Cortez said about JMM and his 1rst fight with Pacquaio. But the Lorenzo incient was a mistake by Cortez, that he nees to admit.

Anyways, JMM shoul stop bitching about Cortez and he should focus on Diaz. Cortez had a ba moment, every other referee has, so STFU JMM.

I will laugh my ass, if the referee of the fight, makes a mistake, and that ends up costing JMM the fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am no Cortez fan, and he has made his share of blunders, but I agree with him on this one.

As far as the Soto v Lorenzo DQ went Cortez had to make a call on the spot based on what he saw, maybe it was the wrong call, but he wasn't privy to the replay to make the call. The man is only human.

As far the upcoming fight with Diaz goes.... even though Diaz was born in and lives in the USA, he does show his pride in his Mexican heritage (even tried to qualify for the Mexican Olympic team), so I am not sure if Cortez was somehow biased againt Mexican fighters it would benefit Diaz too much.

hey juan manuel marquez, you should stop acting like a wuss and let cortez(a ref that makes you feel un-easy) ref your fight because Ch@mpBox@PR and trainhard_187 said so!

not to mention that he helped your ass out by not stopping the first pac fight after the 3rd kd...becuase we all know the 3rd kd rule was in effect and you looked completely out of it.

not to mention that taking a few minutes out of your life to give the media interviews completely distracts you from the Diaz fight.

So Cortez won't admit he was wrong? Huh... That's not a sign of a bad ref. Why use the 3 knockdown first round in the Pac fight; Juan Manuel had his wits about him, he wasn't stumbling, he was coordinated, his eyes were straight. All 3 knockdowns were legit, but they were flash kd's where JMM was never hurt. If he would have stopped it, it would have been premature and he would be more of an ******* then he is now.
