Jandaeng fight. Has some of the greatest counter combinations of any fight I've ever seen.

Jantzen - If you can't see Marquez' skills you don't know boxing from knitting. Go make a wooly jumper douche.

JMM is being a idiot. In the first fight with Pacquaio, cortez was the referee. Most referees would of stoped the fight after those 3 KDs, and he let JM continue. And Marquez would off being unknown as of now. So he needs to STFU an focus on Juan Diaz!!!!!! EVery referee has had his bad moment, Cortez was, Loeronzo-Soto!!!!!

At what point did I argue JMM should be there? The only point I made was Campbell SHOULDN'T.
I don't know man, Campbell is one of the more underrated fighters around now though he is getting a lot of sudden hype for his Diaz win. He actually has quite a solid resume and nearly everyone forgets just who he has beaten because he was seen as a gatekeeper for a long time after his initial downfall.

Great fighter, but no, he doesn't deserve to be where Marquez is, which is rightfully top five/three P4P.

Anyway, having Carlos Navarro, a close fight with Casamayor and beating two massively hyped, unbeaten prospects in Kid Diamond and Diaz is pretty good. He has made some very ****** mistakes (see Campebll vs Peden) but is a good fighter that should never be taken lightly.

The three knockdown rule was not in effect and Marquez has never been close to being stopped and had been an elite fighter for a long time, so why would he have thought about stopping it. He wasn't hurt badly by either of the first two and got up straight away and it was the punch after he was down that made him stay down the last time.

His eyes were clear, he wasn't wobbly, he wanted to keep going and it was the first round. Flash KD's are very common. Few ref's would have stopped that fight, if any.

marquez is getting confident to win but i still have to see diaz running from a fight.

running is not juan diaz' forte. maybe for marquez.

He was hurt right after the 1rst KD, after the 2nd Kd he was really hurt,he was wobbly and he all most went down a 4th time, he was close to being stoped in that round, like it or not. 20 more seconds in that round and he was through!!!!!!!

i've seen that fight and hundreds of title fights...i've also seen fights stopped with LESS damage so you can save your weak as5 rhetoric for someone that doesnt know any better

someone gets dropped 2 times within 30 secs and most refs stop that ****
I see where you're coming from but if you can name one fight in which a guy was dropped two times in thirty seconds and didn't looked ****ed and the ref stopped it, I'll ... I don't know, send you a gift.

Blaming referee - this is a well known excuse of bad boxers together with his loads of cohorts and his failed fans who all do not know how to accept defeat.

I'm glad you're not a referee or judge then mate, 'cause you obviously have no idea what hurt means. The first KD is the definition of 'flash KD'. He got hit cold, fell on his ass, stood back up and was fine. You can see his eyes in that vid and he's fine. Same thing in the second KD. He gets straight back up, eyes clear, legs fine, no damage whatsoever. He is not wobbly. Where did you get that anyway? Let me guess, you think him tripping over Pac's legs is him being wobbly right?

                    Okay.

The third KD isn't even as bad as the first two as he lost his balance as much as he gets hit against the ropes, but then when he is already down and in the ropes he gets hit by Pac. This is the only punch that makes him stay down for longer than a few seconds. It's probably as much frustration and embarrassment as anything anyway. He gets back up and fights fine and by the end of the round seems back in control. It would not have ended if that round had been longer. Look at it as if it was Cotto mate. The only KD in their rematch was worse than any of those in the first round. They were basically all cold, flash KD's. In the rematch he gets hurt in the third round by that counter left. None of those hurt him badly at all.

you could have put any ref in there that night and none would have stopped a fight in which the guy that got knocked down got right back up every time and traded punches.

refs dont think "this guy looks like hell be through in 20 more seconds, im going to stop this fight now"
