Frankly, when Cotto lost I was bummed out, and i had to hear all about Marg from my Mexican co-workers but i was content with the fight and gave Marg and his fans their credit due. To me thats where it ends is in the ring, all the bull**** shouldn't spill out and honestly when it does, it looks bad.
Honestly, it does get out of hand but it's not to be taken that seriously.
People go online to talk **** but I know most posters on here wouldn't act this way in person. I'm sure your co-workers were playfully teasing you and not making prejudice remarks. If they were fuck those dudes!

I'm neither black or white, but race has nothing to do with who i like. My favourite fighter is naturally the hometown fighter doing it great on the worldwide scale in Carl Froch (white). Other current faves are Rafa Marquez and Arce (Mexicans). My sig will tell you that race is not a concern when supporting a fighter.

Just for the record i am an Indian born in England.

i am also indian and from the uk and i feel that race (for me) plays no part in boxing as a sport. nationality on the other hand can be ok i think as its good to support people from your nation. matt skelton is from my town and i don't support him lol, i am a fan of Bhop -Cotto- Roy Jones- Tyson- Frazier- mayweather- hatton- froch- Naseem- mosley (always been a fan not just coz he beat marg.

I love boxing, and could care less what race or whatever a fighter is. Am I alone is this?

I just see that alot of attention is directed at race in most post and by most posters. I have been called mexican(on this site and others) just for supporting Margarito...does it really matter?

Margarito is my current favorite fighter, and I support him to the fullest. Not to change the topic, but that will change if he is found guilty, only cause I don't support cheaters.

I'm a Black Man, just in case no one knew, but my current favorite is mexican. Is that wrong?

This Topic: has really nothing to do with anything. I'm just at work bored out of my mind, and as I went through alot of old topics, I see that race is a huge deal on this site. So does anyone else support, or have a favorite fighter that is not of the same race? Also, do you even care about race, or just the sport of boxing?....
Your name is handspeed and u like margarito...did I miss something

You should be able to rep your own fighter or nationality without ****tin on everybody else's, but most cats here are too immature for that.
