I was just wondering, does it have to do with the fighter you support? Only reason I ask, is cause if you support a mexican fighter, you just have to be mexican(to some posters), if you like a rican fighter, you just have to be rican(to some posters), if you like black fighters, you just have to be black(to some posters)...

I love boxing, and could care less what race or whatever a fighter is. Am I alone is this?

I just see that alot of attention is directed at race in most post and by most posters. I have been called mexican(on this site and others) just for supporting Margarito...does it really matter?

Margarito is my current favorite fighter, and I support him to the fullest. Not to change the topic, but that will change if he is found guilty, only cause I don't support cheaters.

I'm a Black Man, just in case no one knew, but my current favorite is mexican. Is that wrong?

This Topic: has really nothing to do with anything. I'm just at work bored out of my mind, and as I went through alot of old topics, I see that race is a huge deal on this site. So does anyone else support, or have a favorite fighter that is not of the same race? Also, do you even care about race, or just the sport of boxing?....

Good post. I'm White and my favorite fighter right now is a black fighter.. who gives a ****.. gatti used to be my favorite fighter and he's white, I couldn't give a ****. Fans should like who they like because they actually like them.... not based on race. I too have noticed a lot of racial stuff at this site just being a passive poster who's been reading these forums since 06 and just joined.

Unless you make it known what your race is. People will assume your race based on which fighters you support. It's just the way this forum is.

I love this forum but it's just not this issue... I wish a few people would just take a step back sometimes before they post. For example, I think LarryX is a great poster to be honest but that dude gets hated on just at the site of his avitar.

i believe it is a huge topic also. it shouldn't be tho. i love boxingscene and to know that some of you guys base **** on race is just ****in disappointing. let alone these immature ass grown folks or just boys ruins threads with their dumb ass replies.
