I see what you were doing in that respones...You know, with that sig and all.

Speaking of that sig, I can agree with most of the pics you have, but Paul Williams? The man has not had one successful title defense yet in his career...I mean, even Berto has one, and he's as green as my money...Yet you have Paul looming over the rest as if he is the king?

Nevermind. Like I said, i'm bored, and noticed that a couple of days ago and never got to adress it.

        As you were sir.

race has nothing to do with which boxers i like . . . i tend to like boxers who are slick tacticians. many of them tend to be black but for me its more the fighting style then anything else. but that being said i just love boxing its not just one fighter or Mexicans or puerto Ricans, fighters from the us or europe, its the whole sport i enjoy.

the fans that just like fighters mainly due to race and nationality seem shallow to me.

maybe its cause i'm canadian/ecuadorian and neither have much of a boxing pedigree so i dont get caught up with to much of that kind of favoritism.

I'm Mexican and I have to admit I get caught up in nationalistic bias when it comes down to the rivalry between Mexico/PR.

For example I have no problem with Marg losing to Mosley. But if he were to lose to Cotto then it would be different.

Not directed at you but just generally speaking, the rivalry between PR/Mexico can transition from sportsman like to downright nasty in a flash. I think it's within reason to support your fighter/countrymen in such a rivalry, BUT some people don't know where to draw the line and once the flood gates open the racist/prejudice garbage talk seems to just flow with out hesitation.
Frankly, when Cotto lost I was bummed out, and i had to hear all about Marg from my Mexican co-workers but i was content with the fight and gave Marg and his fans their credit due. To me thats where it ends is in the ring, all the bull**** shouldn't spill out and honestly when it does, it looks bad.
