kessler backed out of the miranda fight, says he wants american exposure but is avoiding glen johnson
yea, he wants the big fights bad
and the thing with dawson is he wants money now, he wants to retire at 30 years of age
and if there's no one he can make is name off in light-heavy weight, then he's fighting the lower classes, i think he never mentioned super-middle weight cause that weight class is a joke anyway, he's hardly gonna make a name and the money he wants fighting the guys there
He did call out Jermain Taylor. Taylor shivers at the sight of Carl Froch - why would he go near Kessler? Di Bella has already admitted that they dont want any part of Kessler.
Bute is the same situation, he is taking an easy comeback fight after the Andrade catastrophe.
So again........what are the options for Kessler?
This whole subject of Taylor ducking Froch is a bit comical considering people claimed Jermain was ranked to highly in the Super middleweight division without fighting a ranked contender. Now that Taylor is facing top ten SMWs he is being criticized as if he hasn't fought elite competition before. He is a contender who has barley stepped foot in this new division. The man doesn't even have a belt yet he is avoiding fighters. The funny thing is Taylors camp tried to negotiate with Bute's team to no avail but I guess he is avoiding him to. Froch isn't going anywhere any time soon and if he looses we can all turn into Calzaghe stans and claim The Cobra was nothing but hype and that's why Taylor didn't fight him JK.
Just because Kessler is the best in a weak division doesn't mean he's better than a guy who's strong in a tougher division. That's like saying the best grocery store in the Bronx has a bigger claim than Walmart.
So what if LHW is a stronger division, it's certainly nowhere near to the degree you make out, especially as of now. Sorry but with Bute, Kessler, Taylor, Froch, Andrade, Green the division is not that weak at all, and a few of them have been kicking around awhile, it's only since Calzaghe's left them the titles to fight over suddenly its way more stacked, so it was never that bad in the first place.
Certainly when you consider LHW as of now too, you have Tarver still at 4th, Erdei in 5th, then RJJ at 6th. Hows it such a strong division by comparison with those guys so high up then? Dawson being just ahead of all them is that impressive is it?

I forgot Johnson offered Kessler a catchweight fight. What a surprise that fell through...

Kinda fucks the exaggerated picture you paint.
What makes Froch, Andrade, Green, Kessler or Bute better than Tarver?

He has had two chances to fight for a belt and turned them both down. The guy has been publically ripped to shreds by Froch yet he seems to have no inclination to (a) set the record straight or (b) fight for titles/ fight the best since his move to 168.
I dont know about any negotiations with Bute, although I think Butes people are keen to avoid any risk at the moment too.
