wll, take it from a person whose seen most to all of pernell's fights. floyd beats pernell. he hit harder, he blocked much better, and fought off of the ropes better. he countered off of the block much better. pernell was more elusive with his upperbody movement but became too unorthodoz at times. floyd is, and read this very carefully, the most technically gifted fighter and overall most fluid fighter with speed and power of the last 4 decades. overall means, putting eveything together. him fighting southpaws and having trouble with them means really nothing when his adjustment to them was amazing. pernell imo wasn't faster than judah, but much better defensively. floyd was faster, hit harder, and is the smartest fighter i've seen ever in that ring. pernell was great, floyd is a genius fighter, he beats sweet pea. pernell may have fought what you guys call better competition, but floyd's skillset would be too much for him.

I cant find a" lightweight in history who would beat the fighter you hate so much" i believe Whitaker would beat him clearly/easy which ever you wanna put it.

These Floyd fans make me wanna puke look at them getting all upset. I made this thread to state my opion that i believe Whitaker would beat Mayweather clearly which i truly believe he would. Im not saying one is a better than the other im just saying stylistically Whitaker beats him imo.

My opinion obviously holds too much weight, because these Floyd fans are getting really annoyed. They are throwing accusations that im hater to cover up the fact they know deep down Whitaker takes this fight.

Don't worry. I know it must sound weird to you, given your abilities, but other people get enough blood to their brains to be able to articulate their thoughts in more than 2 lines. And, believe it or not, thinking is actually safe for your circulating system.

Ima go with Floyd too. Not becuase of skill or power but because of focus. Sweet Pea BS too much for me to say he could beat floyd. And he as struggled with lesser boxers than floyd too (even thoug it wasn't in his prime). All that dancing and showboating would make him get caught and he didn't come from defense to offense like Floyd either. Also floyd throws single shot agianst fighters who are bigger and got some pop to hurt him. Pea is not bigger nor has the pop to do serious damage to him. Floyd would box with more of jab and more punches if they fought and he would win that inside fight. Whitaker struggled with McGirt twice on the inside in the pocket.
