Many fights in stalemate are usually stood up, there are those who just tie up just to get the fight standing again.

There has been talks about a yellow card system, but the commissions haven't wised up to it yet.

looks like a bad ass in there for sure but thats not the route i wanna go down, im hoping this will be a civil discussion not MMA guys yelling how Fedor or Lidell or whoever would dominate and the boxing guys the same with boxers.

Not really. Boxing is appealing to Boxing fans only, where as the true appeal of MMA fans is from boxing fans, wrestling fans, catch fans, muay thai fans, BJJ fans, etc. etc.

Boxing is still a big sport, but not as big as it was back then due to the promoting end and the complicity of "what works best".

If it continues, Boxing could have the media appeal of any other martial art tournament.

how do you score an MMA fight? Does jumping on one's back considered a score? is attempting to do something a score too? all I see in MMA is a bunch of "trying to make something happen". I can't believe people like cheering almost doing something when nothing has happened 4:15 minutes out of 5.
