Shane Mosley Wants Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Fresh from his dominating knockout of Antonio Margarito, the WBA welterweight champion, Shane Mosley, is looking for the biggest money fights he can land. The two fighters at the top of his target list are Manny Pacquiao, the number-one pound for pound fighter in the world, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. - the undefeated, but retired pound for pound king. Shane is deserving in fighting the names mentioned. Needless to say he only has so many fights left in him so he needs the big money for retirement. He should get a rematch with Cotto first and get his redemption. Then he can fight the willing others.

SSM don't need to be pickin on Pac, but since he's about to lose the shirt off his back to the ex I can understand it. I'm sure Pac would man up and face him before PBF ever would anyway. I still wanna see SSM try to unify tho, especially against Clottey. Too bad that ain't as big a fight as these others. And if Hatton beat Pac and tried to fight him, SSM would dust his ass.

Hmm ... I don't think so. No mention of Williams, even though Williams called him out.

Very dissapointing that he is yet another top Welterweight to duck Williams, as Shane has a reputation for not ducking anyone.

        He also didn't mention Clottey.

A more accurate statement would have been "I would like to fight the fighters who will make me the most money."

Understandable, I guess, but it's not what he said.

Mosley is WAY to big for the Hatton-Pacquiao winner. After seeing what Mosley did to Margarito you know punk ass Mayweather wont fight him.

Paul Williams is fighting at the higher weightclasses, he's too big for Welterweight. And why should he mention Joshua Clottey ? and this stage in Shane Mosley's career it would be dumb to pick Joshua Clottey.

He's low reward/high risk fight i think Joshua Clottey is a good all round fighter, but let him prove himself first against fighters like Carlos Quintana, Andre Berto, Luis Collazo, Kermit Cintron.

Joshua Clottey hasn't proved himself yet, he's one of those fighters known for his notable losses not his notable wins. When he starts getting mentioned for his notable wins, then he deserves a shot.
