PS: If you wanna talk Kessler then make a thread. It's pointless in this Taylor thread and when it comes from your pen directed at me it's ...........
    1. Taylor has NEVER been considered anywhere close to Hearns. Where do you get this stuff from?

    2. I'm pointing out Kessler because you seem to be very forgiving of him even though he has 40-something fights all at super middle and one elite name.

    What a weird post.

This whole subject of Taylor ducking Froch is a bit comical considering people claimed Jermain was ranked to highly in the Super middleweight division without fighting a ranked contender. Now that Taylor is facing top ten SMWs he is being criticized as if he hasn't fought elite competition before. He is a contender who has barley stepped foot in this new division. The man doesn't even have a belt yet he is avoiding fighters. The funny thing is Taylors camp tried to negotiate with Bute's team to no avail but I guess he is avoiding him to.

BTW.... Why are people putting Jermain on this pedestal as if he is the kingpin of the division???? If Kessler had a better management team he would be in control regardless of Taylor's nationality. Jermain doesn't even hold a belt in the division never mind the keys.....

Im not exactly thrilled about this matchup, but in the end its just as good as any other fight thats been made at 168 in a long time.
          probebly since Calzaghe-Kessler, actually.
actually nevermind, Bute-Andrade and Lacy-Taylor were better.

Yeah the best since Calzaghe - Kessler with the possible exception of Bute - Andrade.

p4p wise Taylor was about as high as Hearns was before Hagler. Give or take a place or two.

As for the money, He was offered $1.6 million to fight Froch in the UK - how much is he getting to fight Green?

Your considering Carl Froch as "one of the best"????

Allan Green would beat the piss out of Carl Froch.

yes. generally, Thompson puts ****es on his handwraps, but the corrupt German officials made him take them off for the Klitschko fight, and then made the ring slippery. (which caused that slip in the 11th round)
not to mention Thompson was coming off an almost year layoff.
