I agree it's unlikely but it's not a complete impossibility. Both have good boxing skills (Haye's are widely underrated, IMO), and both know they have weak chins that they will therefore try to protect.

Haye WILL need a KO to win. But you're right, it's not going the distance anyway. I can see Wlad jabbing him into a bloody wobbly mess before closing the show. I just hope he doesn't fight like a girl.

In fairness, you have to assume Wlad piles up the rounds anyway with his jab. Haye is there purely on a seek and destroy mission. The only rounds he wins are if Wlad is either knocked down, knocked out, or on borrowed legs.

I think you're underestimating Haye's boxing skills and speed. IMO everything depends on whether Haye comes up with a good gameplan to negate Klitschko's jab using lateral movement, and to counter it - and on whether he can be self-disciplined in implementing that gameplan (I think lack of self-discipline has been his biggest problem in the past). If he makes it a tear up, he'll lose, because Klitschko's jab is too good and he has learnt how to fight tall - and Haye knows that, he's an intelligent fighter (except when he gets over-excited and forgets his gameplan).

Wladimir has a great jab but is by no means a brilliant boxer. His size, coupled with his technique (the one Manny teaches all his big, long fighters) makes him very effective however. He still isn't a very fluid combination or counter-puncher - not until his confidence is soaring anyway.

all Haye has to do is attack Wlad with angles......speed kills so Haye should do well against this Klitch.....
