Both Hopkins and Calzaghe said they won't fight Dawson. My guess is it's either Adrian Diaconu or Glen Johnson, and I'm pretty sure HBO will renew Dawson's contract if he completes his two-fight contract deal with wins.

I don't know who he will fight later this year, but I would hope that he gets Joe Calzaghe in the ring so we can determine if Joe is the real deal or if his good stamina and astonishing fast recovery attributes got him far because he was facing older fighters or fighters who could not hurt him more than momentarily.

Dawson after Tarver could face either

Adrian Diaconu (WBC LHW champion)
Glen Johnson
Bernard Hopkins
Joe Calzaghe

That's Dawson best possibilities. I see Dawson fighting Diaconu for WBC belt in July (and winning that fight), than he rematches Glen Johnson in November.

Calzaghe and Hopkins has said they don't want to fight Dawson (even though Dawson is currently backed by HBO) so I don't see those fights happening.

I could see that. HBO should have shown the Johnson and Tarver fights anyway, but now they're going to pick up the rematches. Assuming, of course, that Johnson beat Diaconu. If Dawson wins both of the rematches maybe then HBO could get either Hopkins or Calzaghe to fight him.
