    yeah but usually the better fighter wins the rematch

    like how those boxing trilogies where one fighter wins 2 outta the 3 fights, and it often winds up that the better fighter is the one that takes 2 out of 3

    so yeah a Hatton-Mayweather rematch could be different, I'll leave that a very real possibility

    however for Hatton to discredit the fact that he was getting ripped with clean counter shots a good portion of the fight (including what lead to him getting knocked down)

    and to blame the loss soly on bad refereeing is denial in the highest form.

          this early hatton already feels the pressure and it will be bad for him. his mind is bothered by that ugly boy loss and he knew very well that pac is not easy. this will be the factors that will contribute to his knockout loss to pacman in may 2. but even granting that he will survive pacquiao, which is next to impossible, still ugly boy floyd will not fight him because:

          1. ugly boy floyd has nothing to prove against him, he already knocked hatton out;
          2. the older mosley would be an easy opponent for ugly boy floyd;
          3. it is ugly boy floyd's delight to annoy somebody who is dying to fight him and never
          will he fight him again... unless

          ...he will shell out $100M for the ugly boy floyd!

              I'm a Hatton fan but this guy is way to obsessed over Mayweather. To the point where I'm on the verge of not being a Hatton fan anymore.

              Everything he says is Mayweather this, Mayweather that. Dude, you got your ass whooped by him, move along and look for victories elsewhere because you won't beat him.

                Hatton is a good boxer,but with all do respect he's not going to get passed Pacquiao and definitely not getting "a second crack" against Mayweather.Why is Ricky bringing up the Ref like it was the ref's fault he got knocked out ??

How can Hatton be allowed to fight one way against Castillo but not Mayweather? Why did Cortez change his mind on what was and wasn't allowed?
                  good point, not one to ref whine but just watched the castillo fight again and joe let hattons tactics go fine there. why decide to do things different? not doubt in my mind someone high up maybe wanted to stamp out hattons mauling tactics and had a word with joe, just a though

                    same exact ref he had for his fight with JLC, which was the fight before the Mayweather fight.

                    Basically Ricky had the same ref two fights in a row.

                    You didn't hear a peep out of Ricky's mouth after the JLC fight. But after his introduction to Mr. Ring Post in the Mayweather fight, all of a sudden it's the ref's fault for his loss?

                      the ref refereed the JLC fight differently.

                      He let Floyd away with a helluva lot: hitting and holding, turning his back, throwing elbows, ducking down, hitting behind the head etc - all unpenalised

                      yet when Ricky did any of this the ref was in his corner talking **** and taking a point off him

                      Every time the ref separated them due to Floyd's holding it was advantage Floyd, an advantage he wouldn't have had if it wasn't for a ****head ref
