Hatton is seriously starting to remind me Marquez chasing Pacquiao but in Hattons case begging for May to unretire.

here we go again with the ref excuse. the ref didnt hit Hatton with a left hook from hell and send him flying into the ring post, PBF did. Hatton needs to get over that ass whoopin he took and worry about PacmanComment

i feel what he is saying and its okay for him to be upset about that fight, the fact that he keeps bringing up the ref is not an excuse, its a reality, the referre didnt allow hatton to execute his game plan which was to fight on the inside where he had his best chance.
im not saying that he wouldve won but no doubt the ref took away any chance that he hadComment

Hatton? dude, Mayweather have BEEN looking past the guy. Hatton's prolly the last boxer on earth he would want to face right now. the money is there but there are bigger fights out there for him and that would be with Pacman, SSM, or even Cotto!Comment

Forget Floydy and just beat Pacman..
Pacman is far more dangerous than Floyd beacause he is still getting better because every fighter he fought ended up with a facial beating.Comment

Hatton's got a point the ref favored Mayweather
Cortez was the referee for the Hatton v Castillo fight, but when he reffed the Mayweather fight Hatton wasn't allowed to do what he did in the Castillo fight. How can Hatton be allowed to fight one way against Castillo but not Mayweather? Why did Cortez change his mind on what was and wasn't allowed?
A) Hatton's fans boo'd the glorious US national anthem like they were at a soccer match.
B) Floyd is from his hometown, Las Vegas.
C) Floyd probably gave him a cut out of a bet he placed on himself.
D) He just didn't like how Hatton handled Castillo, a fellow latin man in their fight.
Hatton was competative in that fight and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. He was doing enough to win rounds and almost knocked Floyd down in the first round. If it wasn't for the perfect left hook Floyd landed that sealed the show, Hatton would not get cracked on so damn much on here. I guess that hook erased a competative fight.
But my question is: Why did Cotto deserve a rematch with Margarito who brutally stopped him in the 11th when Hatton doesn't when he was clearly just hurt by a perfectly landed shot also in the 11th? He wasn't mentally defeated like Cotto was. He just got caught and was not able to recover fast enough with a precision puncher like Floyd at the helm.
If Hatton beats Manny, he deserves a rematch on his terms and Mayweather would probably be willing to make another deal. Can you imagine the 24/7 with Floyd Sr. behind Hatton? That would be classic and well worth PPV cash.Comment

Easy fight, big money.Comment

the ref doesn't let Ricky hold excessively and it's his downfall
plus on top of the referee business it doesn't help Hatton's case that he probably suffered 1 of the most embarrassing knockdowns in the past 10 years
(head first into a ring post for those that missed it)
so to complain about the referee when Ricky went head first into the corner is laughable.
and on top of all that I've seen boxers hold more then Hatton and get points deducted .. so it's beyond me how Hatton's Never gotten a point deducted in his entire boxing career.Comment
