Why does Hatton keep thinking that if he beats Pacquiao he's p4p no1 in the world?

Mayweather-Pacquiao is a much more exciting proposition than Mayweather-Hatton II (aka. Re-defeated), should the winner of Pac-Hatton be able to lure Floyd Jr. out of retirement.

My main reason for being partial and pulling for Manny in this one (hopefully in a competetive epic, rather than a unilateral beatdown).

hmmm i don't recall the ref being a left hook or a ring post... so i don't see how it was the ref. In any case, I think Hatton has a really good chance against Pac man so i wouldn't count him out. But I would rather see mayweather vs pacman or SSM

Cortez was the referee for the Hatton v Castillo fight, but when he reffed the Mayweather fight Hatton wasn't allowed to do what he did in the Castillo fight. How can Hatton be allowed to fight one way against Castillo but not Mayweather? Why did Cortez change his mind on what was and wasn't allowed?

I hope Hatton is looking past Manny... If he does then he's gonna have a world of hurt coming to him... He didn't look all that great against Malignaggi, and Paulie is no where near the fighter Manny is... Looks to be a good match though, both styles are good for eachother.
