I was at the Williams/Margarito fight. He was active as hell. However, Williams was just 3 times more active. And Williams' size, reach and activity levels gave Margarito ridiculous problems, just like alot of us knew it would. But, if you watch that fight, you'll see that Margarito threw alot of punches. Against Mosley, he didnt throw ****. And fighters like Mosley, who are smaller, are fighters who Margarito destroys, much less get ko'd by inside 9 rounds.

He said that they are in the preliminary stages of forming a commitee to investigate the Margarito v. Mosley fight. Apparently, an overwhelming amount of the pre-fight action was put on Mosley. He said that these 'smart money' wagers are common, although two factors have piqued the Justice Department's interest.

First, the amount of the wagers placed on Mosley was in great dispaity to the number of them. He said when alot of small wagers are made immediately prior to the fight they can be more easily dismissed as 'smart money' than a handful of very large ones. On Saturday, six separate Las Vegas casinos took wagers on Mosley at approximately 7:26 PST (right before the fight) totaling more than two million dollars.

Second, the FBI in Southern California has been investigating for some time the Arellano Drug Cartel's dealings with a number of athletic events, including boxing. The Arellano family has apparently kidnapped and held at ransom the wife or children of certain fighters in an effort to get that fighter to fix the fight. A former member of Margarito's management named Roberto Ramos is currently under investigation for being associated with the Arellano cartel.

Is it possible that Margarito threw the fight? I'm sure we'll being hearing more about this.
It's utterly amazing how far excuse makers will go. They have to know they will be laughed at and mocked. Or are they really that dumb and delusional?

You can tell when someone throws a fight, its ALWAYS, 100% OF THE TIME, OBVIOUS. Margarito was desperate and powerless to stop the ass whooping he took. Plain and simple.

Margarito averaged 54 punches per round, that isnt active as hell.

If you believe I'm wrong, explain your side. If not, don't waste my time.
Lol, I just have a hard time believing you actually believe it though. But for argument's sake let's say youre right, then what is the reason to get caught with something falling out of the gloves then?
