So if he was taking a dive why the hell did he take so much stick.
He had to sell it as much as he could. He over sold it. He didn't even attempt to hold, block or throw back.

Mosley fight. Apparently, an overwhelming amount of the pre-fight action was put on Mosley. He said that these 'smart money' wagers are common, although two factors have piqued the Justice Department's interest.

First, the amount of the wagers placed on Mosley was in great dispaity to the number of them. He said when alot of small wagers are made immediately prior to the fight they can be more easily dismissed as 'smart money' than a handful of very large ones. On Saturday, six separate Las Vegas casinos took wagers on Mosley at approximately 7:26 PST (right before the fight) totaling more than two million dollars.

Second, the FBI in Southern California has been investigating for some time the Arellano Drug Cartel's dealings with a number of athletic events, including boxing. The Arellano family has apparently kidnapped and held at ransom the wife or children of certain fighters in an effort to get that fighter to fix the fight. A former member of Margarito's management named Roberto Ramos is currently under investigation for being associated with the Arellano cartel.

Is it possible that Margarito threw the fight? I'm sure we'll being hearing more about this.

Yea, and I'm absolutely sure we WON'T be hearing more about this bull****. Margarito took too many punches to the head and was thus KO'd. No fixing, no steriods, no excuse, no bull****.

the shane fight looks just like the clottey fight except shane punches more than clottey does and thats what was keepin margarito from punching even in the 8th round the counter uppercut that shane throws in the 8th and missed is the exact counter same uppercut that clottey lands i think in the 6.
if it's so crazy in mexico why doesn't margarito just leave?

Like someone here said, if the fight was fixed, why would Marg have the plaster in his gloves? Those things can seriously hurt someone, their purpose is to win, not to lose.

To make it look even more like he didn't take a dive. When they come up to him and ask "did you take a dive", he'll just say no because I tried to win by putting cement on my hands. He probably had it done where he would get caught. Even if he didn't get caught with the plaster, he had no intention of throwing punches. This whole **** was orchestrated and played out perfectly. It makes perfect ****ing sense.
