i know they moved up to #2 and 3 after diego loss and went away.

do you know the story of the talks between freitas and casa against floyd?

i don't remember the details on possible fights with them.
Nah man, Freitas-Casamayor came during the tail end of Floyd's reign. Like YEARS after he first picked up the title. As far as negotiations, I remember Freitas never mentioning Floyd by name while Floyd jumped up and down screaming for a fight in the media, even offering to go to Brazil. When he realized a fight wouldn't materialize, he moved up a couple months later and fought...Castillo.

floyd actually pursued a 140 fight with kostya.

by the time floyd was looking for a fight with tszyu , tszyu was in talks with hatton. kostya chose to fight hatton instead because at the time hatton was more money than floyd.

floyd could have gotten a fight sooner with kostya but he took a few tuneups at 140 first and fought gatti for his belt first.

In those 4 years or so he only fought 2 top ranked super featherweights.

Genaro when he beat him for the title and Diego Corrales who was ranked #2 behind him and in some years ranked #1 above him.

For a couple of years there Joel Casamayor and Acelino Freitas was ranked right there behind Floyd Mayweather and obviously fights with those 2 were never made.

Would you consider Floyd's run at 130 dominant or considered it cleaning out the division?
right before floyd moved up i don't remember what post fight it was but he said Joel Casamayor and other big names were avoiding him

When you are moving up in divisions as fast as mayweather you dont really have the time to clean them out just to beat the top guy in the division.

Either way i still think Mayweather has a bad resume and did not fight the fights he needed

all his talk of greatness but he never really proved it in terms of matchups. zoo was 2nd p4p and they never fought. cotto champ at 140-147 never fought, mosely a great champ never fought. their are so many great fighters he coud have fought to cement his claim to being the greatest.

I think he definitely dominated 130 and probably 135 too

                The rest... Nah

Although I suppose it depends on your definition of dominating a division
