    I don't agree.

He was certainly the best in those divisions and at super featherweight and lightweight he certainly beat the next best fighter in the division but did he really dominate and clean out any division?

Did he even clean out 130 and 135 let alone any division above that?
he cleaned out 130, but u don't have to clean out a division to dominate. in every weight class he has been, he became the best fighter in the division. 135 beat the man twice and koed an undefeated Ndou who was knocking everyone out at the time. 140, destroyed Gatti and all the other top fighters ran scared, 147 became the lineal ww champ. now u can say he didn't dominate 147, but he clearly was the best there.

In those 4 years or so he only fought 2 top ranked super featherweights.

Genaro when he beat him for the title and Diego Corrales who was ranked #2 behind him and in some years ranked #1 above him.

For a couple of years there Joel Casamayor and Acelino Freitas was ranked right there behind Floyd Mayweather and obviously fights with those 2 were never made.

Would you consider Floyd's run at 130 dominant or considered it cleaning out the division?
casamoyer and freitas was at 135 when he took the belt from Castillo. also carlos hernandez was top 10 ranked at 130 along with angel manfredy, jesus chavez

Floyd was the man at 130 and 135.

Oscar was never the man in any division, maybe 154 briefly when he beat Vargas and even that's debateable.

at 135 he could have fought casamoyer and freitas, but neither showed interest.

at 140, he could have fought Cotto, Hatton, Zoo, or harris. Cotto and Hatton wanted none of him. zoo lost to hatton and retired. Harris lost to Maussa.

at 147, he could have fought Cotto and mosley. margarito was a nobody, williams was to green as well as quintana, Berto. Collazo was unknown and damn near lost to hatton.

at 154, he could have fought Spinks, Karmazin, Mayorga, and man from Africa..I forget his name.

u can't blame him for 140 and Cotto at 147 would have happened if not for oscar wanting a rematch and trying to pull his penis out in negotiation which caused him to retire along with the criticism and hatred of the media and so-called pundits. at 154, he is too small...but for the guape he can go up there and get a W
