Once again...he is officially retired...just like Mayweather is "retired"....or we can count Floyd if you want...because he would most definitely be right up there at #1 with Pacquiao....ahead of Average Joe....

The list is quite weird in my opinion but it has usually been the most respected.
Ofcourse it's weird....it's The Ring list...I think I've only agreed with their list 2, 3 times in 25 years....Hatton should definitely not be on there for sure....he's nowhere near a P4P level boxer...

I know exactly what "being British" means....but anyone who knows will tell you the term goes deeper than that....yes...it technically means you were born/and or raised under The United Kingdom's umbrella....but seeing how the four countries really don't get along and are not truly UNITED....you will see that many don't refer to themselves as that...

i.e....how many Scots, Welsh, and Irish go by "British"....not many....you're from Scotland....tell me if I'm wrong...when you meet someone...do you introduce yourself as Scottish...or British?....the Scots are very proud...so don't lie now...lol

and yes...the way I use is it IS for that reason...there's a difference....because it is mostly the English that would or might introduce themselves as "being British"....

A fanatical Ricky Hatton fan living in England would be likely to call themselves British....and they are among the worst excuses for Boxing fans I've ever seen...

but enough with the justified semantics....

"But there comes a time when money doesn't matter. I just can't do it anymore. I have found a peace with my decision that I have not felt in a long time."

Joe Calzaghe denies making retirement decision

It's after Xmas....almost February...Joe's mentioned a possible homecoming fight in Cardiff....but there's no opponent in sight....who's he gonna fight....his Italian brother, Manfredo, again...lol

but hey...we can go ahead and say he's active and give you 1 if you want...the choice is yours...

but then I'll HAVE to include Mayweather....making it 5 to 1....because he's in his prime and will DEFINITELY be fighting again....seeing how it seems like he's in talks with certain opponents every month...

              Don't be mad, kids....just accept it...your region is Lacking....with a capital "L".

America is THE Standard AND Mecca of Boxing....and there's nothing you or your fighters can do about it....

Unless you start expanding your territory for a larger talent pool....

                No, Mayweather announced his retirement.

                Calzaghe didn't.

Therefore Calzaghe is active, Mayweather is not.

I don't understand why you're fighting so hard to get 1 fighter...especially an overrated homeboy like Calzaghe...

but I'll give him to ya if you want...

                  and I'll even hold back Mayweather...the former #1 P4P....

                  making it 4 to 1.

I shouldn't have to fight, unless someone tries to steal it because they are insecure about the number of fighters THEY have.

"Oh well if you have Calzaghe then we HAVE to have Mayweather back"

                    LOL ****s pathetic
