hmm thompson has a good winky style defence, hayes head movement+reflexes are pretty good though.....but yeah haye can get caught easily because of his low left but his superb reflexes often get him out of trouble

yeah the chin thing i wont dispute- but remember wlads chin is ****e too
I'm not sure how well Haye will be able to close the distance. We've never seen him against anyone like Wlad so it's hard to say. Wlad is used to being the taller guy, he is used to have the longer reach. He has spent his career developing a style that is suited to those attributes. Haye on the other hand has never been against someone like Wlad.

He won't catch Wlad throwing a sloppy jab that leaves an opening. Perhaps Haye can get inside without taking punishment, and connect with a KO punch. But he has never fought with that style before. He's not a Tyson or a Frazier, and I think that anyone who is facing the kind of height+reach+jab+defence disadvantages that Haye is up against would need to be as good as those two in order to have a good chance of victory.

Considering they've both been knocked down, with Wlad getting his block knocked off harder than Haye's, I see it as a pretty close fight since Wlad has improved much under Stewart's tutelage.

Haye is the faster of the two, and Wlad has used his jab effectively in recent bouts.

Wlad is probably the stronger of the two who can hurt Haye if he catches him solidly especially since Haye likes to hold his hands low.

It'll come down to who establishes his jab early and who's stamina will hold up longer.

Haye is more athletic. And if he comes in great condition, I see him edging out Wald for the win.

The juice of this thread is that most people are picking this fight on their feelings rather then with their head, Kinda like Lewis-Tua or Lewis-Tyson.

Anyone with half a brain knew exactly that neither of the two T's have a chance against Fat Jammoc.

PS.I expect DiegoFuego make a thread about overall ****tiness of british fighters after Wlad beats Haye, just like he always does after a british fighter loses, even though he is picking him now to win.

There is not one indication that this is true, what exactly tells you that Haye is faster? Surely neither his sloppy punching technique or even sloppier footwork.

I hope the betting is as even as this poll (so I can drop some real money on it.) And that Wlad gets the tiniest bit of credit if he wins (as in more than Herbie Hide type credit.)

Still rather see Wlad fight Gomez and Vitali fight Haye, but maybe we'll see those match ups if both Klits lose.
