Whats funny is that a week ago I started a thread slamming people who thought that a fighter had to get knocked out and should put his life at risk instead of doing the safe thing and just letting his corner stop the fight.

Now the same people switch their opinion all in the name of hating on Margaito.

On the topic of margarito, id respect his desicion more if he didint get caught cheating, i always respected margaritos toughness, i never have been a fan of plodding fighters like him, but it was his toughness and his will i still respected, but getting caught like he did, wrapping his hands like this, it makes me feel like that was what was keeping him in fights mentally, and without it, he wasnt so tough. Mosley is not some big puncher, which tells me that Margarito likely lost the will knowing he couldnt catch up to him, i sincerely feel he likely cheated in that cotto fight.

I dont respect him less for losing, i respect him less for getting caught with his hands like that, that is absolute bull****.

Anybody else catch this in the post fight interview? His corner wanted to stop it, but he said he told them no because he wanted to get knocked out. How do you feel about that? He's so taken with what is perceived to be expected of him by his Mexican following, that he was willing to risk his health just to satisfy them.
