Marg is a crazy dude, but he wanted to go out on his shield. It was ultimately his choice and no one can change that. Im just glad that Shane got the win he has been looking for because everyone was doubting him and calling him washed up after losing to Forrest and Winky.

He was ****** to continue. The amount of punishment he's taken over the years finally caught up with him. He had NOTHING, his corner is ****** for letting him continue.

In so many ways it's the fans who can be responsible for damage some fighters sustain. The dude was KO'd in round 8, but because we're so quick to label people quitters fighters want to go out there and just get their head taken off as opposed to acknowledging that they've just got nothing left. There's a fine line between courage and ******ity. If Margarito didn't answer the bell in the 9th, there would have been no shame in that, and anyone who would have called him a quitter could seriously go **** themselves.

Anybody else catch this in the post fight interview? His corner wanted to stop it, but he said he told them no because he wanted to get knocked out. How do you feel about that? He's so taken with what is perceived to be expected of him by his Mexican following, that he was willing to risk his health just to satisfy them.
