I still think it was cool he wanted to go out on his shield. Everyone is acting like he was being foolhardy now.. But had he pulled a no mas, how quickly he his detractors would have torn him limb from limb.

Oh I agree 100%. You can't win for losing with boxing. Look at what Cotto got for being smart, and avoiding further punishment. He still gets **** for it on here.

But you have to understand that only the *******s would label someone a "coward" for being smart and living to fight another day.

Going out on your shield is much more ****** IMO, especially if you're taking that type of beating.

honestly, if margarito still has fans after he got caught cheating, then those fans are simply **** riding mexicans, who are more a fan of the man then of the sport. Anybody else catch this in the post fight interview? His corner wanted to stop it, but he said he told them no because he wanted to get knocked out. How do you feel about that? He's so taken with what is perceived to be expected of him by his Mexican following, that he was willing to risk his health just to satisfy them.

Let's be honest here, his health was in danger in there. Mosley was landing bombs on him all night and he could do nothing but take them.
