anyone think cotto ruined margo

I'm rewatching the Mosley/Margarito fight right now and I am thinking yes. Margarito no longer seemed like an armored tank coming forward. He was getting hurt all over the place.

yep every punch seemed to hurt him..thats why he was smiling so much

all bull**** aside..he didnt even look like himself..he was extra slow.no balance and just looked terrible..i guess we'll have to wait till cotto-jennings and see how cotto looks..but i suspected both will never be the same and will be forced to beating the hell out of each other 2 more times

I disagree. SSM didn't give Margarito enough room tp punch and he clinched. I knew this would happen due to have Richardson in his corner. Cotto NEVER sat down on his punches against Margarito and even before the fight I said "SSM is a harder puncher then Cotto and Shane WILL sit on his punches" Well SSM did just that and even put his whole body weight behind the punch and landed! It was only a matter of time before Margarito went down

A lot of it was Shane, but I'm sure that the punishment he took from that fight hurt him a lot.

Sugar was pretty sweet with the accuracy that night almost all the punches that hit - hit em' perfect on the spot.

yea sugar shane put on a classic performance..but margo damn near looked like oscar

People underestimate Mosely's power and the fact that he was putting all his weight into the punches, it was like getting hit by sledge hammers. When Margo felt the punches, he knew it would be a tough fight.

I wouldn't doubt the illegal hand wraps hurt him mentally but i wouldn't say it was what made him fall apart. He still has that granite chin however, he couldn't hold up to Mosley's sledge hammers coming down on it. If Margs had some defence he would of stood a fighters chance but like i've said before, the man is a walking punching bag.

It's possible he took sumthin out of em, but SSM fought like a beast and mighta whomped him regardless, so cats shouldn't get too caught up in this and let it cloud SSM's victory.

I said right after the fight, he had a look in his eyes 2 rounds before the fight was over that made me think he was gonna end up leavin on a stretcher. And I didn't even think he looked right before the fight, he looked blank and flat.

Now if he does attempt a comback fight, Its gonna be sick just to see him take shots now. It's like watchin Mayorga all over again.

mosley got to margs body early which didnt help either. he hit him hard to the body many times which noone has done.
