I doubt any of you punks in this thread ever laced 'em up.
All of you are just spewing the **** that's usually said.

Lace 'em, have a few pro fights under your belt, and then talk to me.

definitely the jitters and limelight, also Mr. Pressure was probably feeling the pressure to perform the same way he did against Cotto and be victorous in front of his mexican fans. That Cotto-Margarito rose his stock and it was short lived. Thats boxing, its a ****ed up sport.

He did look "off" but that can happen to a fighter who fights like Marg. He take s a ton of punishment and it will catch up to you eventually. Maybe it did that night.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was it for Marg as a top contender in boxing.

His defense is underrated, yes he gets hit a lot but he uses his gloves to deflect some of those big shots and yet he just stood there like a dummy getting tagged left and right. Something was wrong with that man that night, I noticed it since he came out, jitters, limelight? I don't know what the f uck happened to him.
lets be serious, margarito has no defense

c'mon mang, marg's strategy is to let you tee off on his head and then come on strong in the later rounds.

mosley mixed in a body attack, plus he has great stamina unlike cotto and whupped margarito.

I agree with others and say it was the body attack. Margarito was visibily hurt the first round because of that powerful right hand to the body Mosley hit him with.

that body work destroyed any upper body movement he had, which is why he wasnt able to roll with the punches like he usually does. that little bit can make a huge difference over time.

I think he also had problems with the strength of Mosley. Mosley was strong enough to push him to the ropes when Mosley grabbed him(which was another good move, grabbing) and it would pretty much destroy any momentum that Margarito ever started up. they were the same size as well...both 160lbs.

                thats what I saw, anyway.
