Drew i like you but a Mayweather/Margacheato fight really wouldn't be close

Floyd is too talented, too versatile a fighter for someone as 1 dimensional as Margarito to beat, it would be like Mayweather/Baldomir

You don't need power to beat Margarito, you need speed and good defence/ring smarts

it would be a C class fighter against an A* class fighter

And for those still hoping that Margarito can get it done I have an observation for you. You have to admit that Cotto was perplexing Magarito with his technique for the first few rounds. So just imagine how Mayweather's superior boxing skill would destroy Margarito...

In light of saturday its hard to pick Margarito to win but I honestly think it's a different fight than the Baldomir fight. Marg is taller than Baldomir, and has a better chin IMO. Without getting pushed backwards and clinched, the way Mosley was able to achieve which is a result of his Mosley's strength I think Margorito is much more effective. I think it's false to judge margarito by his domination of Cotto but I also think it's false to treat Margarito as a clubfighter b/c of Mosley's domination over him. I do agree with DJR005's picks. Pacman, Williams and Cotto would give PBF most trouble. I think PBF is bothered more by speed(Pacquiao) than pressure. Cotto has a bit of both so he would also be a good candidate.

What do you think about Mosley, do you think he has a legitimate chance of beating Floyd. outside of Zelenoff its hard seeing anyone beating a complete boxer like Floyd

The Pacman will defeat Mayweather once they meet in the ring but I've read that Floyd doesn't want a fight with him. Mayweather could be running scared of the Pacman's Fury. JAT

Word of warning, if you can barley Handle Juan Manuel Marquez, stay away from a guy like mayweather, especially at 147.

Mosley fought well on Sat night, but mayweather is a completley different ball game, shane knows it too, thats why his toothache played up when mayweather wanted the big money fight. He makes way too many mistakes, and mayweather himself has said those very words himself in past interviews. If shane honestly thinks he can walk in head up-hands low against mayweather without getting hit and if he thinks he can lean away from a mayweather right hand, he is very mistaken.

Shane is a good fighter, but reflexes only take you so far, mayweather is all about timing, once he times the right hand, i dont think shane would see it coming at all, especially when he tries to close distance. Then there is mayweather's underrated body work and the counter left hook.

People may laugh but I think that Juan Manuel Marquez has a better chance at stopping Money than Paquiao, Cotto, or any of the big guys.

Its going to take someone with both skill and heart to take him down.

You can't run away from a fighter when your retired, Floyd can no longer be accused of ducking someone unless he publicly states his return

P.S......Floyd/Mosley would be more competitive than Floyd/Ping Ping

Although i would rather see Floyd/Ping Ping as it decides the fighter of the decade
