What you should already know about Plaster!

Has any of the officials from the WBA actually come out and said it was "plaster"? I know it referred to as a substance that hardens when it gets wet. We all REALLY need to wait until we get more of the story because I'm not sure there is such a substance as one that "hardens when it gets wet".

What you shoul already know is... Plaster, like everything else under the sun, gets SOFT when it gets wet. It turns to a paste. It only hardens when it is allowed to set and dry. Only then does it become as hard as a rock. Maybe the plan was to pour water on Tony's hands after they finished rapping, but still, plaster takes time to set. And if you are constantly sweating inside of a glove, as well and landing punches regularly, I don't know that its possible for it to set.

We just need more of the story.

Another very good point... I vote we all shut the hell up and wait for the WBA to launch a formal investigation. Everything else will just be hearsay.

Pretty obvious that you guys never heard about Panama Lewis and Luis Resto.

It was one of the first topics discussed last night... He was found guilty of removing padding from gloves, nothing more. It wasn't until years later Resto said that in addition to that, he had put plaster "under his handwraps". If its under the hand wraps, who cares, it won't effect the person getting hit, only the hand of the person throwing the punches. I'm not saying Resto wasn't being honest, I'm just saying, I'll believe plaster can set in a glove during the course of a fight when I see it with my own two eyes.

Answer this: Why use it? It's a fact that Luis Resto fought with gloves by Panama Lewis at least 3 times. Surely he wouldn't do it if the only thing getting hurt was his hands.
