yea, but still you don't go through a war like that and come out unscaved. the cotto fight must have taken something outta him, not saying it took out alot but something. That was my only reason in believing that shane had way more of a shot at beating margarito than many gave him.

But to the original question, yea margarito was out since the first knockdown. And in all honesty i think he was out of the fight in the first or second round when shane nailed him good and he appeared to get rocked by it.

What I think people are answering in the poll is was he unable to continue.
I think he beat the count, but the fight could have and should have been waved off there.
