I knew Marge was overrated. His win over Cotto was a one off like Buster vs Tyson. But take nothing away from Mosely. I thought Marge would win. But that is from not knowing what Mosely had left because ive never seen Mosely apart from against DLH.

I doubt it. He barely landed a punch on "Sugar" Shane, Mosley just fought the right fight and didn't allow Margarito to press forward.

I think the ref should have stopped the fight after the first knockdown, because Marg was obviously badly hurt.

But the round was coming to an end, so he was temporarily saved. He hadn't recovered by the beginning of the last round, and so was an easy target for Mosley up until the TKO.

cotto put the knee and he was a *****..... now we hve to see how he reacts.. and how much did the fight with margo took away from him.....

but for me.. it was a smart decision by cotto taking that knee..

and wrong from margies corner to let him continue that fight....

I agree the fight should have been stopped after the first knockdown. Even after the bell rang to end the round Margarito looked very shaky and was blinking his eyes a lot. I'm a Cotto fan but I don't hate on any fighters and as exciting of a finish as it was I still didn't like seeing Margarito take all that unnecessary punishment at the end.
