lol The **** outta here, Paq's feast on the smaller division's legends while he was a "the new guy" without even facing any of the other "new guys" doesn't even rate as somthing worth mentioning.

I mean yeah, the casual fan and you flips praise that kinda ****....but giiit the **** outta here lol.

You can't keep a straight face and tell me Soto or Guzman would outpoint Barrera and Morales at that point of their career...

And you can curse me if I think David Diaz at lightweight holds as much weight as a pillow case...

i had pac win both against marquez tbh. it's the knockdowns......killed jmm in the scorecards.

morales was past prime when he fought manny. shows how good erik is tbh. remember a shot erik almost beat diaz for the 135 belt. david is not as bad as some think.
To be honest with you, I don't think the knockdowns were enough. I've watched the first fight about 5 times, I come out with Marquez winning, every time.

Even the second fight, a much closer one, just has the feel of a Marquez win.

About Barrera, I get you. I never tried to make an excuse for any fighter, to be honest. But I can see things and it just didn't look like he was focused. Even when he was focused on merely surviving, he looked more impressive against Pacquiao.

i think barrera loses to manny no matter what. bad matchup for marco.

the 3rd erik morales fight we didn't really need to see. he was really weight drained. i agree erik was past it in all 3 of his fights. he had a little bit left in the 1st and halfway through the 2nd but the wars took it's toll.

the marquez-pacquiao were not robberies. i can see how people would have the 2nd for jmm though. i don't know about the 1st though. i know jmm did very well in a lot of rounds but enough to overcome a 10-6 round? i don't know about that.

i think manny beats marco at any point in marco's career.

jmm no matter what manny does will always be a pain in manny's ass.

i think manny was very , very lucky he caught erik at the end though. erik a year or two before would have hurt manny bad. the manny at 122 and 126 anyway.

Why do you gotta throw that 'flips' **** in there?

Just call 'em 'Nuthuggers' if you so feel the need.

              you know what it is?

after the 1st round knockdowns......it gave manny the impression that he wasn't doing well anymore in comparison.

people subconsciously look back at the 1st round and how marquez would go down and when manny wasn't getting the same effect anymore (marquez got used to manny's handspeed. it was a shock to him in the 1st and he wasn't warmed up yet) it automatically made people feel like manny wasn't doing good.

manny won the 1st 2 rounds clearly.

going into the 3rd he was up 20-15 with 10 rounds left. very tough mountain to climb for jmm. it's not like he blew manny out or dominated. manny did win a few rounds after and was competitive in most.

jmm made a HUGE mistake not taking the immediate rematch. he would have whooped that one dimensional manny. bad management decision by nacho. very bad.
