MEXiCAN DOMiNANCE iN BOXiNG has officially come to an end

i know we still got israel vazquez, jmm, rafael marquez, juan diaz, rocky juarez, fernando montiel, jorge arce, ulises solis, jorge solis, abner mares, and others but half those guys i mentioned are on their way out...

and our young mexican american prospects (victor ortiz, chris arreola, vicente escobedo, robert guerrero, etc.) dont really have that classic mexican warrior mentality that we've come to love...

as it is our boy urbano antillon is being held down when this vato should be a top star by now...

Truth. I think by the time I'm old and have a kid or two, the next star will be in the ring... Only time will tell..

Pacman did all the work, he must be half Puerto Rican...blood test him . He really did *** the up they couldnt handle Pacman destorying their top fighters and than the rest fell apart.

Well, in terms of DOMINANCE, I've never believed any one race dominated boxing. However, I'll say it again......

From welterweight down, there are a combined 25 out of 114. Which is just over 22 percent of the entire ratings from that point. Out of The Ring titles that are official, 6 titles are held, with 33 or so percent being held by Mexicans. Marco Antonio Rubio ATLEAST having a semi-chance of winning a third and Ulises Solis having a tough time, but a chance with Ivan Calderon.

The top 10 p4p rankings, done by The Ring, atleast have 3 Mexicans in the mix, if you take out Margarito. Which is 30 percent, the highest percentage of any other 'group' on the list. And if Manny Pacquiao wasn't the hottest thing in boxing, a Mexican would be p4p number one by most official accounts.

                    Damn, times are rough.

For the record, these are ONLY fighters born IN Mexico. I'm not even including decent fighters like Luevano, Juarez or any of the Diaz'.
