good comment man he relies too much on his chin and the cumulative effects of that showed last night. the problem with marg is he just doesn't have any head movement and doesn't keep his hands up, at this level fighters like cotto and sugar tee off on him for fun. eventually that will take an effect.
shane was also really putting his weight behind his punches. his right hand wasn't shot straight from the chin, suagr shane was literally winding it up and swinging it around to land it to the body and the head. heck it wasn't a right cross it was more of a right hook!! he knew that he could afford to swing it around as well because marg wasn't going to be looking to duck or avoid the punch he would have taken it on the chin quite happily.
anyone else think its not a big surprise that marg would look stronger as the fight went on, the hand wraps as they slowly got wet over the course of the fight would harden and his punches would seem heavier and take more out of the opponent.
as for margo's chin its been well and truly cracked and i dont see him becoming the top dog at 147 anymore. problem is his style was just too reliant on his chin as jag james pointed out.Comment

You can only know by watching his next couple of fights. If it is "cracked" then it's a shame, because that would take a lot out of him as a fighter.
I think a younger Margarito could take more though. In the last couple of years iron chinned fighters like Mark hunt and Ray Sefo(they're kickboxers but nevertheless) were KO'd silly by punches they took regularly when they were in their prime.
If you block punches with your head for years you will eventually get stopped.
I expect to see the same happen to David Tua if he keeps fighting.Comment

I think it will still be good but not as good as it was.
Even though Mosley did stop him it took a hell of alot of punches to do it.
Mosley really was great last night.Comment
